The Expedition into the Frozen Frontier
Welcome to our exciting Science Holiday Camp focused on Physics! Throughout the week, the children will explore the frozen wonders of the North and South Poles, learning about glaciers, icebergs, and unique animals like penguins and icefish. We will learn about the history of polar exploration, from Shackleton’s daring adventures to today’s scientific missions. Get ready for a week full of hands-on experiments and fun physics discoveries!
Places are booking up fast for our Christmas Science Camps in Kensington and, new location, Hampstead. We can’t wait to meet all our super scientists on the 16th.

Our Christmas Science Camps are now at 2 locations:

UCS Senior School, Frognal, Hampstead in NW3 6XH
We have also extended our age groups for our camps from 4-6, 7-10 years, with a new 11-14 age-group, taught separately with age-adjusted highly interactive content.

We’re excited to announce our second Science Camp for teens ages 11-14, focusing on Physics! This year, we will dive into fascinating topics such as the polar regions (South and North), temperature, entropy, and conductivity. We’ll also explore magnetism and innovative solutions to tackle glacial melting. Designed to challenge young minds, our curriculum helps children engage with advanced scientific concepts while building essential skills for future success at GCSE level. Our exceptional team of educators, with expertise in physics, biology, and chemistry, will make these complex topics accessible and exciting through hands-on activities and expert-led workshops.
